Pumpkin Painting at the Library Scarecrow Building at the Library Witches of Narberth Cindy and I have a massive pile of candy, decorations, and a witch costume on our dining room table, and that can only mean one thing - The Witches of Narberth! For anyone who's new around here, this is a free scavenger hunt that sends kids all over Narberth's downtown, searching for witches with Halloween treats. Find all the witches, and you get a prize at the end! Details at narberthonline.com. Halloween Bike Ride Join Narberth Cycling Club for our 7th annual Halloween costume "PEDAL PARTY"! We are gathering at 5pm on the Narberth Ave "bridge approach" (the section of Narberth Ave between the old Little Gym building & the stop light at Haverford Ave). After a quick review of road safety rules, we'll depart for a 3-mile costumed bike ride to check out Halloween houses while we jam out to spooky tunes. The crowd-sourced route & full event details will be posted below in "discussion" tab as the event gets closer. Feel free to invite neighbors and friends! ********PLEASE NOTE******** (1) Bike Helmets & front/rear bike lights are required. (2) This is an all-ages, all-levels, no-drop ride, but NO BIKES WITH TRAINING WHEELS & NO BALANCE BIKES are allowed for ensuring the safety of the large group of bicyclists. (3) Costumes are strongly encouraged! Narberth Halloween Parade Volunteers from Girl Scout Troop 7048 are helping us out with this year's Parade. They will also be fundraising by selling pretzels and apple cider down by Borough Hall, at the end of the parade. Please bring a few bucks to support them. There should be a few giveaways at the end too, like crayons, pencils, coloring books, etc, from the Narberth Police, the Narberth Public Works Department and the HSAs from BC and Welsh Valley. As usual, the great volunteers from our Narberth Fire Department will lead the way with an engine or two. At the back of the parade, watch out for a Haverford Ave Halloween-style performance from the Dance Xpress dancers! E-Cycle Event - October 28
LM and Narberth residents can bring unwanted electronics to the dump on Saturday morning. (I know this has nothing to do with Halloween, but it does happen to be scheduled this weekend!) Details here. Comments are closed.
