Also known as "Junk Week", this is the week the Borough schedules extra home trash pickups, so Borough residents can put out any large items, extra trash, and clutter. In 2024, Spring Cleanup Weeks are scheduled for June 3-7. The 2024 details will be added when we have them from the Borough, and the Borough will post them here. For reference, here are the June 2023 details about the Spring Cleanup Week collection schedule and the list of restrictions. Questions can be emailed to [email protected]. |

Glass
Glass is known to be the heaviest item in our recycling stream and since recycling costs are driven in part by weight -- diverting glass from our recycling bins into PRC's collection bin can help reduce the cost of recycling for the Township. Additionally, nearly 100% of the glass collected is recycled into new bottles and jars, while glass collected curbside may be recycled, but may also be trashed or used as landfill cover. Using PRC's Traveling Glass Bin ensures that your glass is being recycled properly. More info here.

Electronics
In addition to periodic local e-cycle events, both LM and Narberth residents can arrange for at-home pickup with the Retrievr app. Retrievr does household pickups of clothes and small electronics. Retriever will take just about any clean and dry textile or fabric in your home, and most electronic devices or accessories. Please note that they do not take household appliances, such as dishwashers, refrigerators, toasters, vacuums, hair dryers and the like.
Staples also has a e-cycle program. Details here.
