Located along Philadelphia's historic Main Line, the Lower Merion School District serves the approximate 62,000 residents of Lower Merion Township and the Borough of Narberth. One of Pennsylvania's first public school districts, Lower Merion School District was founded in 1834 and has established a longstanding reputation as one of the finest school systems in the United States. The District's six elementary schools, three middle schools and two high schools provide a challenging, multi-disciplinary academic program and dynamic experience for more than 8,700 students.
