For the first time in a long time, we have a few outdoor events being celebrated in Lower Merion and Narberth. Here is one event happening tomorrow (8/21), and two more, in the coming weeks. Main Line Bike Race - Ardmore: 8/21 This annual event to support Narberth Ambulance returns with a new course this year. The race loops between both of Ardmore's shopping districts, the downtown on Lancaster Ave, and right through Suburban Square (see map below). The 2021 event features different races, for all ages and skill levels, from 8am to 4:15. Look out for road closures all day. There is also live music, a family fun zone from 12-4, and a beer garden. Narberth Music & Arts Festival and NarBark Dog Parade - 9/12
The beloved Narberth Music and Arts Festivals return next month with a day of art and live music. Jpoining the artists on Forrest Ave will be a NarBark Dog Parade at 1pm. Part parade and part costume contest, this annual tradition gives dog-owners a chance to dress up their pooches and strut down Forrest Ave for prizes. After the pet silliness subsides, the action moves to Haverford Ave at 3pm, where four live bands will take turns on stage. Join your friends and neighbors and bring the whole family to downtown Narberth for art and free live music all day,. There will also be great street food and beverages from some of your favorite Narberth establishments. Event website here. Comments are closed.
