Cindy Ridgway's Lower Merion & Narberth "New Listing" Tour - Early February, 2018

 

Our local Spring Market is ramping up, and more new listings hit each day.  It's especially important for buyers to have an agent who knows and sells in the neighborhoods you're targeting.  You never want to be the "last to know" about properties that just hit, or are just about to hit the market.  The best agents are out there touring the properties and networking with the professionals, so their clients have the latest info, and are in a good position to get the home they want. 

​Here are several of the homes Cindy toured so far in February.

First up, is this 4 bed/3.2 bath, center hall, brick colonial with a two story addition and a three car garage.  This renovated home, on half an acre in Penn Valley, is listed at $1.225M.  It's a good fit for the family who likes traditional main line brick colonials,  but also wants the features and amenities of a new home.  The big brand new kitchen has granite and stainless, and the renovated baths and bedrooms have the storage and features modern homebuyers want. This 2011 sq ft, 4 bed/3 bath Merion Station twin is in one of the neighborhoods nicknamed, "Near-berth", because it is just outside the borders of Narberth Borough.  It's a quick walk to Narberth's train station and charming downtown, and even closer to the award-winning Merion Elementary.  Listed for $409K, this twin has a newer kitchen with granite and stainless, a small fenced yard, and a garage. Also in Merion Station, but in the neighborhood by  General Wayne Park, is this 4 bed/2.1 bath stone colonial, for $750K. Not only does this street have great park access, it's also close to the Bala Cynwyd Schools, and just across Montgomery Ave from Narberth Borough. This renovated home has 2878 sq ft of living space.  The kitchen has granite, stainless and a breakfast bar.  Downstairs is a large finished basement. Want Merion Station, but with a bit more living space?  Try this 6330 sq ft, 8 bed/6.2 bath stone Victorian, with a separate carriage house! In Bryn Mawr, Cindy toured this 5 bed/4.1 bath, with 4087 sq ft, listed for $835K. This home is on a cul-de-sac, near Ithan Valley Park,  in the Ithan Mills neighborhood of the Radnor School District. Another Bryn Mawr home on Cindy's tour was this 3952 sq ft, 5 bed/4.2 bath just around the corner from the Rosemont train station. Listed for $1.475M, this newly constructed home sits on .42 acres, with a driveway and three-car garage. Also in Bryn Mawr is this 5 bed/4.1 bath Georgian Colonial.  The 3701 sq ft home sits on 1.6 acres of gorgeous property in the private Pembroke Estates neighborhood, and is listed at $2.395M. Part of Cindy's Bryn Mawr tour was through several units in "The Square", right next to Suburban Square and the Ardmore Train Station.  A number of units are available, including two penthouse apartments.

The first of two Gladwyne homes on Cindy's tour was this 3001 sq ft, 4 bed/2.2 bath French Colonial. Listed for $980K, it sits on close to an acre, near the Philadelphia Country Club.
