Cindy Ridgway's Lower Merion and Narberth "New Listing" Tour - Week of September 25, 2017

Things slowed down a bit in the summer, but as we approach October, there are plenty of new listings out there for buyers to see in and around Narberth and Lower Merion.  Cindy was joined for part of this week's tour by the newest member of her team, Celine O'Neill.  Cindy brought back notes from nine new listings this week, in quite a few price points throughout the Lower Merion School District. 

Halfway between Merion Elementary and the Merion Tribute House, is this 4 bed/2.1 bath in Merion Station. Right nearby, in the Indian Creek neighborhood of Wynnewood, Cindy toured this 2465 sq ft, 3 bed/2.1 bath.  The 1/3 acre lot is right behind the large St. Charles Seminary property, not far from Shortridge Park.  This modern-looking home has an open floor plan and high ceilings, and is listed at $699K. Cindy's tour moved on to Ardmore, where she saw this 3 bed/1.1 bath single, right around the corner from Linwood Park.  It has 1258 sq ft of living space, and is listed at $434K. The first of four Bryn Mawr homes was this 4 bed/4.1 bath new construction, not far from the Baldwin School.  We couldn't find a great photo of the house, but everything inside looks brand new and gorgeous.  It sits on more than  a 1/3 acre and has 5322 sq ft of living space.  The LMSD doesn't have a ton of new construction single family homes, so this luxury model comes with an understandable price tag of just under $1.4M.  See the details and photo gallery at:  544 New Gulph Road, Bryn Mawr, PA  19010.

Next was this Bryn Mawr 2857 sq ft, 4 bed/3.1 bath in the neighborhood between the Shipley campuses, and close to Bryn Mawr College.  Listed at $749K, the home is on a 1/4 acre lot with plenty of interesting outdoor spaces and a greenhouse.  The stone walls and wide-plank hardwoods floors give the home a vintage feel, but there are several modern upgrades, including the roof, driveway, and newer stainless appliances.  Pictures and details at:  127 Kennedy Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA  19010.

Also in Bryn Mawr, in a neighborhood closer to Harriton High School, is this 2618 sq ft 5 bed/3.1 bath stone colonial, listed for $879K.  Tons of curb appeal with this one; the 3/4 acre lot is well landscaped, with patios and gardens and a big lawn. Cindy's tour wrapped up in Villanova, at this 4463 sq ft, 5 bed/3.1 bath on a pretty .68 acre lot down the road from Villanova University. The outside is well-landscaped, with a backyard pool.
