Cindy Ridgway's Lower Merion and Narberth New Listing Tour: Late April and Early May, 2018

Plenty of new listings on the market this week in the middle of the Spring market, but there is quite a bit of pent up demand from ready and willing buyers.   Cindy started out a little further west on the Main Line, but most of these homes are in the Lower Merion School District.  Take a look at her notes:

Cindy's tour started outside the LMSD, where she saw this 5154 sq ft, 6 bed/5 bath stone home located on an acre+ lot in St. David's. In Haverford, Cindy toured this 5 bed/2.1 bath center hall Colonial, priced at $799K.  It has 2701 sq ft of living space, with a driveway and a garage, in a neighborhood near the Haverford train station. This 3253 sq ft, 4 bed/2.1 bath is just down the street from Bryn Mawr Hospital, and right around the corner from the Bryn Mawr shops and restaurants. Listed for $570K, it has a white, modern kitchen, open to a bright dining room. There's a very large fourth bedroom on the third floor that has plenty of possibilities as a big office or playroom. This 6 bed/4.1 bath is in a neighborhood of big old Main Line mansions in the part of Ardmore near Suburban Square and Lower Merion High School. The home has 4119 sq ft of living space on a half acre lot, for a list price of $975K. Ever want a house with an elevator?  Now's your chance in this 100 year old home, updated with many contemporary conveniences.  It has central air, and a nice modern kitchen, with the perfect butler's pantry. 462 Clothier Rd, in Wynnewood, has alraedy gone under contract since Cindy's tour.  It is a 4 bed/2.1 bath stone colonial that was listed for $825K. 

Cindy toured a "coming soon" listing near the Merion Tribute House. It's a 5700+ sq ft, 5 bed/4.5 bath, that will be listed for 2.4M.  Contact Cindy if you want her to keep an eye on this one. 

This one had a ton of traffic at the open house, so there may be some stiff competition.  It's a 5 bed/3.1 bath twin right around the corner from the Merion train station. It has 2886 sq ft, and is listed at $500K. Cindy toured a few homes in Bala, including two on Lodges Lane, not far from the Cynwyd Elementary and Middle Schools. This home is a 3319 sq ft, 5 bed/2.2 bath on a third of an acre.  The property is more than a hundred years old, but has been extensively renovated. This home is also on Lodges Lane, on the other side of Conshohocken State Road, and closer to the West Laurel Hill Cemetery. It's a 4 bed/2.1 bath, listed for $647,900. Still in Bala, and right around the corner is this 5 bed/3.2 bath, listed for $559K. This property is both a residential home and a three-room professional office (configured now as a dental practice).
