Cindy Ridgway's Lower Merion and Narberth New Listing Tour: April 21-24, 2018

How do you stay up on all the latest info in the Lower Merion School District real estate market?  If you're Cindy Ridgway, one part of your routine is a weekly tour of new listings. If you're not Cindy - it's super easy - just browse through her notes from the comfort of home and call her if there's something that catches your eye.  Here are some of the homes Cindy saw this week:

Starting on the eastern side of the LMSD, Cindy toured this 3465 sq ft 4 bed/3.2 bath stone Colonial in Bala. Listed for $800K, this home sits on .42 acres in a neighborhood just across Belmont Ave from West Laurel Hill Cemetery.  It has a big modern kitchen, with white cabinets, dark granite counters, and high-end appliances.  The master suite has an oversized shower and his & hers closets.  See more at:  117 Righters Ferry Rd, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

Still in Bala, but in one of the neighborhoods closer to the Cynwyd schools, is this 5 bed/3.2 bath stone colonial.  The home has 3307 sq ft of living space and a list price of $789K. We'll show you this next home in Narberth Borough, but don't get too excited, because it's already under agreement. Narberth homes tend to move quickly, and this 2074 sq ft, 5 bed/1.1 bath was no exception. Not only did it have a "primo" Borough location, it also came with a bonus feature (for Narberth) - a driveway with detached two-car garage.  It was listed for $600K. A few blocks away, and still in the north side of Narberth Borough, is this 1590 sq ft Dutch Colonial with 3 beds and 2.1 baths. Priced at $549K, this home has new Central AC, a nice front porch, and new paint and landscaping/hardscaping. This Wynnewood center hall Colonial is in a neighborhood just across Montgomery Ave from Narberth Borough's northern border.  Listed for $835K, this 5 bed/4.1 bath has 3549 sq ft of living space on a .41 acre lot.  It has a newer kitchen with stainless appliances, an attached two-car garage, a finished lower level, and a beautiful patio in a nice private backyard.  See all the details and photos at:  229 Gypsy Lane, Wynnewood, PA 19096. 

In the next neighborhood over, and a block closer to Lower Merion High School, is this Wynnewood 6 bed/3.1 bath. Listed for $1.050M, the home has 3961 sq ft inside, on a .86 acre lot.  It has the nice updated kitchen high-end appliances you'd expect at this price point, with an adjacent mudroom and pantry.  The inside of the home is beautiful, and the fenced grounds are lovely and well-maintained. Cindy's tour headed more west, to Villanova, where she saw this $1.2M 5 bed/3.1 bath. It has 4453 sq ft of living space inside, and sits on more than an acre of land. This one is a decent-sized two-story house, but from the front looks almost like a ranch. Not far from Villanova Law School is this 6 bed/7.2 bath,  7278 sq ft mansion, listed for a cool $2.3M. Last up, was the biggest house on the tour, a 9000 sq ft, 5 bed/5.3 bath, in a Gladwyne neighborhood near the Philadelphia Country Club. Like the previous one, this house is also just a "teenager" in a Main Line full of mature older homes.  It has a loaded kitchen and an amazing master suite, but the star of this show might be the spectacular basement level.
