Every week, Cindy tours new listings in and around the Lower Merion School District. Here are some notes she collected from the past couple of weeks. The homes she saw included properties in Wynnewood, Narberth, Merion Station, and a few other Lower Merion neighborhoods. The Spring market is getting underway, so some of these homes have already gotten offers, and at least one is under contract. First up was this 2248 sq ft, 4 bed/3.1 bath colonial in Bala, listed for $685K. The first floor living area has tons of beautiful wood features, like exposed beams, moldings, mantels and built-in benches. The master, with three closets and an updated bath, is on the second floor. A fourth bedroom and small full bath are by themselves on the top floor. See more at: 110 Bentley Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. In neighboring Merion Station, Cindy toured this 4231 sq ft, 6 bed/ 3.2 bath stone colonial, listed for $975K. The property has a two-car garage, patios, and a backyard pool, on a fenced half-acre lot halfway between Merion Elementary and the Merion Tribute House. The house has a nice mix of classic Main Line charm with some modern upgrades , like dual-zone AC and updated kitchen and baths. See the rest at: 607 Zollinger way, Merion Station, PA 19066. There were a couple of Narberth Borough homes on Cindy's tour, including this 1488 sq ft, 3 bed/1 bath twin, listed for $415K. Sitting right across the street from Narberth Park and the playground, this one has a front row seat for Narberth's spectacular Fourth of July fireworks. The kitchen has been updated with white cabinets, granite counters and stainless appliances. Outside, there's a driveway, patio, and one-car garage. See more pics and details at: 3 Windsor Ave, Narberth, PA 19072. The other Narberth listing Cindy toured was this 1912 sq ft, 5 bed/2.1 bath, on the market for $625K. It sits close to the northern edge of the Borough on a quiet dead-end street. Outside, you'll notice the driveway, detached garage and the classic slate roof. Inside you'll like the sunporch and the built-ins in the eat-in kitchen. See for yourself at: 100 Wynnedale Rd, Narberth, PA 19072. Moving on to Penn Valley, Cindy toured this 4000 sq ft, 6 bed/4.1 bath, listed for $949,500. It sits on a professionally landscaped .89-acre lot, with a two-car garage, paver driveway, and brick walks, in a neighborhood near Penn Valley Elementary. This gorgeous house has a feature that could be a major selling point for the right buyers - a great nanny/in-law suite, with bed, bath and a separate entrance. See all the photos and details at: 721 Bryn Mawr Ave, Penn Valley, PA 19072. Coming soon to the market, in Penn Valley, is a 4 bed/3.1 bath, that will be listed for $875K. Cindy toured the home last week, so contact her if you want an update on the details and timing. This Bryn Mawr 5 bed/3.1 bath split-level is listed for $839,900. It has 3551 sq ft of living space on a one-acre lot just down the street from Harriton High School. See it for yourself at: 825 Great Springs Rd, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Cindy's tour took her next to Wynnewood, which is a relatively large, spread out Lower Merion community, with a large variety of neighborhoods and housing stock. In one of Wynnewood's Penn Wynne neighborhoods, Cindy toured this 1542 sq ft 3 bed/1 bath, listed for $379K. It has an eat-in kitchen with original built-ins and a walk-in pantry. There's plenty of parking with a driveway and a two-car garage. See more at: 322 Old Forest Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096. Also in Wynnewood was this home, in a neighborhood halfway between Lankenau Hospital and South Ardmore Park. It's a 2546 Sq ft, 4 bed/3.1 bath, on a quarter-acre lot, listed for $865K. The classic stone colonial exterior is complemented by an interior that has been extensively renovated. It has a modern kitchen with white cabinets, stainless appliances and granite counters, plus renovated baths throughout. It has new electric, plumbing, and windows, and the basement has been waterproofed. Looking for an exterior with Main Line charm, combined with a move-in ready interior? You've found it at: 1317 Wyngate Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096. The last Wynnewood house on Cindy's tour was in the Green Hill Farms neighborhood, next to Penn Wynne Park. This 2920 sq ft, 5 bed/3.1 bath, listed for $679,900. It has a light, bright, updated kitchen, and plenty of storage, with an oversized one-car garage, attic, and dry, unfinished basement. The driveway wraps around the back of the house, where you access the garage. See the photos and details at: 1214 Yarmouth Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096. In the section of Ardmore by Suburban Square and Lower Merion High School, Cindy toured this 1648 sq ft 2 bed/1.1 bath. This historical home is listed for $289,900, in as-is condition, so the right buyer would be one looking to put their own personal touches into the property. See the details and more exterior photos at: 233 E. Montgomery Ave, Ardmore PA 19003. Buyers often need to pick between two priorities - like choosing between new construction or the neighborhoods you really want, that are almost exclusively stocked with older homes. But if you have the budget for it, sometimes you can have the best of both worlds. Case in point is this new construction home, right around the corner from Gladwyne village. It's a 5 bed/5.1 bath stone colonial, listed for $1.725M. It has pretty much everything you'd expect at that price point, but you can see for yourself at: 417 Howard Rd, Gladwyne, PA 19035.
