Spring Clean Up Week 2025
Also known as "Junk Week", this is the week the Borough schedules extra home trash pickups, so Borough residents can put out any large items, extra trash, and clutter. The 2025 Spring Cleanup Week is scheduled for June 2-6. The Borough has posted the 2025 details here.    Questions can be emailed to [email protected].  

Official Info from the Borough:
The week of June 2, 2025, has been designated as Spring Clean Up Week in the Borough of Narberth. During this week our waste collection contractor J.P. Mascaro will collect items that are not normally removed during weekly trash service. These materials are to be placed curbside and will be collected on the day of the week as listed below. Due to the stipulations of PA Act 101, the following restrictions will apply:

• Building materials, such as wood, plaster and concrete, will not be collected.
• Hazardous waste, such as paint, chemicals, and pesticides will not be collected. 
• Electronic waste, such as televisions, computers, keyboards, sound equipment, etc. will not be collected. 
• Lawn & garden waste will not be collected
• Appliances, such as air conditioners, freezers, refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers, will not be collected as part of this free pick up. Please contact J.P. Mascaro directly to arrange a pick-up.
• Rugs will be collected but must be cut into 4-foot lengths, rolled, and tied with string.
• Metals will not be collected.
• TIRES WILL NOT BE COLLECTED!

Spring Clean Up starts Monday. June 2.  What should I do?

• Pull all the stuff out of your basement;
• Have a garage sale - get your neighbors to join in and make it a street party;
• Recycle items in good condition with your favorite charity; 
• Put everything left out on the curb for your neighbors to browse through (see restrictions);
• Tour the neighborhood under the guise of "taking a walk" to see what good stuff your neighbors have.  (A dog is useful but not necessary for this.)
• Leave it out there for the Borough to pick up.
• *** And Remember *** Do NOT leave bikes, scooters, or other items you want to keep anywhere near the curb this week. You don't want any misunderstandings about what is up for grabs and what you intend to keep!
