Summertime Stuff Not everyone is away (even if it feels that way)! Only about 20% of families are away on vacation at any given time in the summer, but things definitely feel slower around here! When you're home, make sure to hit a few of these local summer activities and events. Here are a few: Greeks Next Door - Free Beer Tastings The bottle shop next to The Greeks continues their Friday happy hour free beer sampling with a July 24 visit from Space Cadet Brewing Company. Come out from 5-7 Friday night to meet all your friends and neighbors who aren’t down the Shore! Ryan Christopher’s - Narberth Every week this local gem offers some amazing new specials. Lately we’ve been thirsting after their posts about fresh summer tomatoes, softshell crabs, and local classics like Milan Salad, and fried oysters & chicken salad. Check out this wonderful BYOB. National Night Out - Ardmore On Tuesday, August 4 from 6-9pm, this locally-created annual event returns to the Anderson Ave surface lot across from Suburban Square. The carnival features rides, music, food, and an opportunity to meet your local first responders. Ardmore Rock N’ Ride This August 9 event is a community fundraiser, benefiting Narberth Ambulance Emergency Services. It's a free, outdoor, family friendly event presented by Main Line Health, featuring an official USA Cycling bike race, a multi-stage concert, a youth bike race, and a family fun zone.
