Fourth Of July In Lower Merion & Narberth

​Our community is fortunate to have a number of annual July 4th events. We've compiled a few here to give you  2024 details about your family's favorite, or to help you find an event to start a new tradition!

​Narberth Fireworks and Carnival
This family favorite is one of the Main Line's most anticipated events of the year! From 10am-1:30, the daytime activities include a baby parade, pie-eating contest, Diaper Derby, races and field games, food vendors, carnival games, and more! Come back down to the park at 6:30 PM for more food, music, and fireworks after dark! Details here.

July 4th in Ardmore
The South Ardmore Betterment Alliance has a decorated bike contest and parade of bikes, strollers and wagons. The fun continues with a fire truck visit, field games, tattoo table, the "Big Splash", and tons of food, including water ice, a bake sale, and more!  Details here. ​

​Bala Cynwyd Fourth of July
Assemble at 8:45 for the 9:30 parade that kicks off this classic Main Line event, sponsored by the Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd since 1916. After the parade, there's a patriotic ceremony, followed by music, pony rides, a petting zoo, exotic animals, a rock wall, carnival rides, field games, and refreshments. Details here.

Garrett Hill - Rosemont July 4th Parade
Just outside LM is another parade and celebration. Children and families are invited to decorate bikes and floats to ride in the parade. Afterwards, there will be entertainment, refreshments, and games for the whole family. Details here.

Narberth Summer Concert Series
Looking for something THIS week? Wednesday nights in the summer mean free concerts in Narberth Park! Grab a picnic dinner, and bring the whole family down to the Gazebo in Narberth Park. Grown-ups can hang on chairs and blankets to watch the bands, while the kids enjoy the playground next door! More details here.
